So the assignment was to create a 3D object and place it into an actual location in or around your home. In honor of Halloween, I chose to model a severed hand and place it on my kitchen counter top. Why, oh why didn't I choose a tennis ball!?
I set up my blog to interface with Facebook and have had problems with it ever since. Facebook only shows the first couple of line of text and no images. As I continue to hammer out this issue, I'm making posts to my blog to test my changes. Let's see if this one comes through properly.
Well, this is better. I'm getting some jagged edges around the bubbles and I can't seem to clean them up. But, all in all, I'm much more satisfied with this image than my spaceships.

Since I'm working this summer, my photo time is limited so I took a walk around my block the other day and shot some images of flowers growing in my neighbor's yards. Not my usual thing, but we photograph what we see, don't we? The third one down shows a yellow crab spider sitting inside a Lilly in my front yard. The crab spider hangs out inside flowers and waits for unsuspecting honey bees to come along.
